SUE TYLER

Sue Tyler works in acrylics, watercolor, and mixed media. As an Idaho native, she has spent many years exploring the mountains and deserts of the West on foot and horseback. After receiving a degree in art education, she later moved to Teton Valley and taught all aspects of art at Sugar-Salem High School. In 2002 she received the Governor's Award In Excellence in Art Education. In 2013 she retired and began painting full time.

Sue's work can be seen in galleries and events throughout the western states, winning various awards. Sue continues to teach adult workshops and enjoys collaborative projects with local nonprofit groups, especially conservation groups. Sue has lived in Tetonia for 40 years.
