Clay Classes
Step into our fully equipped ceramics studio, where creativity takes shape! With ten pottery wheels, a slab roller, an extruder, multiple kilns, a wide selection of glazes, and plenty of tools, our space is designed for artists of all ages and skill levels to explore the art of clay. We even have clay available for purchase, so all you need to bring is your imagination!
New to clay? All first-time ceramic artists start with our Intro to Clay Arts Class, which serves as both a studio orientation and a foundation in working with clay. After completing this class, you’re welcome to join a wheel-throwing or hand-building class to continue your journey!
2D Classes
Our 2D Studio is a vibrant creative space where adults can explore a wide range of artistic techniques—from printmaking, painting, and drawing to our growing fused glass program. Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or learning to cut and design with glass, our workshops offer a welcoming environment to experiment, build skills, and connect with fellow artists.
Led by talented instructors, each class is designed to inspire creativity in a supportive, hands-on setting. From color and composition to kiln-fired creations, there’s always something new to discover. Come explore new mediums, express yourself, and make something amazing in our 2D Studio at Teton Arts!

Safety
Wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Do not touch, load, or unload kilns or handle glaze chemicals.
Report injuries, accidents, or broken equipment to staff immediately. If no one is present, leave a note or send an email.
Keep dust down at all times - No sanding or sweeping indoors, wet sand only.
Cleanliness & Studio Care
Clay dust contains silica, which is hazardous when airborne. Cleanliness is essential.
Clay scraps and throwing slop go in the large recycle bucket only. Use the strainer - pour your throwing bucket into the strainer, feel around for any tools that you may have forgotten in your bucket. Then, scoop the chunks of clay out of the strainer and let them sink to the bottom of the recycling bucket.
Nothing from the floor or sink goes into the clay recycling—use trash or sink buckets.Clean as you go. Your final wipe should always be with a clean, wrung-out rag.
After use, clean and return all tools and equipment to their proper place. Don’t leave anything by the sink.
No one should be able to tell what color clay you used! Leave No Trace!
