After School Art
Kindergarten - Grade 3
Our after-school art classes (K-3) are where imaginations run wild. From squishy clay to colorful canvases, each session is a new adventure in self-expression. More than just art, it’s a place where kids build confidence, make friends, and discover the joy of creating. No rules, just endless possibilities—because at Teton Arts, every child is an artist.
Preschool Art
Thursdays, 10-11 AM (Ages 3-5)
On Thursday mornings, the Teton Arts studio fills with little hands, big imaginations, and plenty of creative fun! Our free, drop-in preschool art program invites caregivers and their 3-5-year-olds to explore a new artistic adventure each week. No sign-ups, no pressure—just a welcoming space where kids can explore, make a mess, and discover the joy of making art. First day back for Fall 2026 is September 17!
Teton Arts High School After School Art Cohort
A place to grow as an artist, build community, and prepare for what’s next.
The Teton Arts High School Art Cohort is a new after-school program designed for local high school students who are passionate about art and looking for opportunities to take their creative practice further.
While many students have access to introductory art experiences through school, there are limited opportunities for teens who want additional instruction, dedicated studio time, mentorship, and the resources to develop their skills. The High School Art Cohort fills that gap by creating a small, supportive community where young artists can explore their interests, challenge themselves, and grow alongside other creative teens.
The program is open to students from public schools, private schools, and homeschool programs. It is especially designed to provide a positive after-school outlet for students who may not participate in sports or other extracurricular activities. Through art, students will build technical skills while also developing confidence, independence, creative problem-solving, and meaningful connections with mentors and peers.
Two Specialized Art Cohorts
The program will begin with two small cohorts, allowing for individualized instruction and meaningful mentorship. There will also be ample opportunity for students in either cohort to explore all mediums at Teton Art.
2-d Arts Cohort
Students will explore a variety of artistic disciplines, including:
Painting
Drawing
Printmaking
Fused glass
Portfolio development
Students will receive weekly instruction, access to open studio time, specialized materials and equipment, and ongoing mentorship as they develop their own artistic voice and body of work.
A Creative Community for Teens
At its heart, the High School Art Cohort is about creating a place where teenagers can belong.
Students will have the opportunity to spend time with other young artists, work alongside supportive mentors, experiment without fear of failure, and develop skills that extend far beyond the studio. Whether they plan to pursue art professionally or simply want a meaningful creative outlet during high school, the cohort gives students a place to be challenged, supported, and inspired.
Pottery Cohort
The Pottery Cohort is designed for students who have developed an introductory foundation in ceramics through their school programs and are ready to take their skills further.
Students will work with Teton Arts teaching artists Charlotte and Greg as well as a variety of visiting potters from our community, to develop their pottery skills through additional instruction, experimentation, and dedicated studio time. Participants will have access to the open pottery studio and the resources they need to spend meaningful time developing their craft.
More Than Art Instruction
A key component of the High School Art Cohort is mentorship and portfolio preparation. Students interested in pursuing art after high school will receive guidance in developing a strong portfolio and presenting their work as they prepare for college applications, collegiate art programs, scholarships, and other creative opportunities.
Students will also participate in a studio work-trade component, contributing approximately 1–2 hours per week to studio cleaning and maintenance. This shared responsibility helps students understand what it means to care for a creative community while building ownership, accountability, and pride in the studio they use.
In exchange, students receive access to studio space, instruction, materials, mentorship, and opportunities to work independently in a professional creative environment.

Summer Camps
All summer long, Teton Arts transforms into a hub of creativity and adventure with our Summer Art Camp! Campers explore painting, sculpting, drawing, and mixed media while also enjoying plenty of free time to play, imagine, and explore both inside the studio and outdoors.
Thanks for joining us for summer camp in 2026! Registration for 2027 Summer Camp will open in mid-April.

Our Summer Art Camp runs for 11 weeks in the summer Monday through Thursday, 9 AM - 3 PM. Need a little extra time? We offer early drop-off at 8 AM and late pick-up until 4:30 PM for an additional fee.

Our camps are available to kids who have finished kindergarten up to age 13. Camps are split into two age groups, 6-9 and 9-13

Daily rate: $70/day
We believe every child should have the chance to experience the magic of art, which is why we offer scholarships for up to ten camp days for families needing financial assistance.
